Emptiness Inside

The boxing gym he once trained at, a room resonating with his presence, keeps his memory alive. The dreamlike feeling that we are trapped in, the thought of him still here, makes us deny the painful reality that we have to accept. The full body goes numb, wiping the tears that we cannot hide; the emptiness of his presence makes us feel hollow inside. The unfairness of life having to go on but the pain still remaining, builds anger up inside that suddenly he was gone.
